Version 0.1.0

Not yet released

The first release. Everything below is what Viewport does on the day it arrives in the Chrome Web Store.

  • 38 device frames drawn from geometry rather than bitmaps, so they stay sharp at any zoom.
  • Multi-device boards of up to 10 panes, scrolling and clicking in sync.
  • Framed screenshots, full page scroll-and-stitch capture, and batch capture across every device on the board.
  • Tab recording encoded locally to MP4, with trim and speed editing and no upload.
  • Six audit overlays: layout grid, touch targets, contrast, headings, images and labels, and focus order.
  • Visual regression: save a baseline per device and URL, compare, and get a diff image when pixels move.
  • Design overlay for lining a mockup up against the real thing.
  • Page state: save and re-apply the localStorage and sessionStorage of the previewed page.
  • Network throttling, plus geolocation, locale and timezone emulation.
  • Per-pane Core Web Vitals, with a dash rather than a zero for anything not yet measured.
  • Custom device profiles, saved scenes, and comparison panes pointed at a second URL.
  • A command palette on Ctrl+K covering every action.
  • Twelve languages across the extension and this website.
  • Subscriptions through Lemon Squeezy with no licence key to type anywhere.

How this page works

Every entry here is a version that exists. There is one so far, and it has not shipped to the Chrome Web Store yet, which is why it is marked as unreleased rather than given a date it does not have.

Versions follow the usual three numbers. The last changes for a fix, the middle for a feature, and the first for a release that changes how something you already rely on behaves.
